UPDATING YOUR PEOPLEPC DIALER
Click on the PeoplePC Online icon on your desktop. This icon is a blue square with the PeoplePC smiley face in the center.
You will either see "Connection Settings" or "Modify this location" to the left of the dialer window. To continue, refer to the directions below.
Connections Settings directions:
- Click "Access Numbers"
- Click "Modify Numbers"
- Make sure your area code shows in the next window, then click "Next"
- Confirm your Dialer Properties then click "Next"
- Scroll down and click to place a check at city that is a local call for you, then click "Next"
- Click to place a check at "Select all" or scroll down and select all access numbers that are local to you, then click "Next"
PLEASE NOTE: Please verify with your phone company that these numbers are local calls for you.
- Click to place a check next to Usage Agreement, then click "Finish"
- Click "OK".
- Then click on CONNECT to connect to PeoplePC Online
Modify this location directions:
- Click on "Modify this location"
- In the first screen, click "Next"
- Make sure your area code is correct. (Your dialing rules should remain the same)
- Click on "Next"
- Click on "Next" (These settings should remain the same)
- Scroll down in the window on the left showing cites
- One at a time, find and select all cities or towns local to you
- Click on "Add city" for each city you have selected
PLEASE NOTE: Please verify with your phone company that these numbers are local calls for you.
- Click on "Next"
- Make sure you place a check at the Usage Agreement and then click on "Finish"
- Then click on LOGIN to connect to PeoplePC Online
